Retrain the Muscles That Hold You Out of Alignment

Neuromuscular therapy treats the nervous system and the muscle together. Where a muscle has learned to hold a shortened position, the fix is not only pressure. It is pressure, then movement, then repetition, so the pattern is replaced rather than temporarily interrupted.

It is the approach used for scoliosis support, nerve compression symptoms, and the postural pain that follows an old injury on one side of the body. Sessions are specific, spoken through, and slower than they look.

What is included

Our neuromuscular massage therapy services

Every technique below is part of the session price. Which ones get used depends on what the intake and the tissue tell me.

  • 01

    Trigger Point Deactivation

Ischemic compression on the specific points producing referred pain, followed by lengthening so the muscle keeps its new resting length.

  • 02

    Postural Assessment

A look at how you stand, sit and rotate before any work begins, so the session addresses the cause rather than the loudest symptom.

  • 03

    Scoliosis and Spinal Support

Careful bilateral work along the curve, easing the concave side and supporting the side doing the extra work.

  • 04

    Nerve Compression Relief

Release of the soft tissue structures crowding a nerve path, common in sciatic and thoracic outlet symptoms.

Progress here is cumulative. Most clients working on a postural pattern come weekly at first, then space appointments out as the pattern holds on its own.

Pressure that is actually deep

Clients who have given up on deep tissue elsewhere are the most common new booking. The difference is pace, not force.

Relief that lasts

The measure of a session is how long it holds. Most clients report several days to a week from focused deep tissue work.
